This code were stamped on VW Engine case malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus and wait then injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
10517 Possible Causes:
10517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10517 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
