10517 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of airbag ecu and wait then mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low is the final reason of the code. |
10517 Possible Causes:
10517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10517 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
