10509 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting and secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code.

10509 Possible Causes:

10509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Reverse Input Circuit
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 10509 Code

  • Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
