This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission range display, circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment . So for next ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
10504 Possible Causes:
10504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10504 Code
- Inspect all the connections air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
