Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management feedback signal "a", high or change crankshaft position signal output, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
10497 Possible Causes:
10497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10497 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
