10497 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
10497 Possible Causes:
10497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10497 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
