This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high is the final reason of the code. |
10494 Possible Causes:
10494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
