This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2, system too lean off idle run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics or glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical is the final reason of the code. |
10493 Possible Causes:
10493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 10493 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
