This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control motor, control circuit or engine coolant level low will delay your vw fault. |
10492 Possible Causes:
10492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10492 Code
- Inspect all the connections a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
