10491 Possible Causes:
10491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 10491 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
