Diagnosing engine bar with data-bus powertrain, hardware defective to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so cylinder 6 injector, data incompatible or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank is the final reason of the code. |
10491 Possible Causes:
10491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10491 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
