When you open tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature or exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
10487 Possible Causes:
10487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 10487 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
