The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ecm/pcm power input, signal high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal also 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
10486 Possible Causes:
10486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10486 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
