10479 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
10479 Possible Causes:
10479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10479 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
