The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 1, system too lean off idle and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
10446 Possible Causes:
10446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10446 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
