Staring in engine relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit . So for next drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
10440 Possible Causes:
10440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10440 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger, under-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
