Diameter in engine function restriction due to brake temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
10440 Possible Causes:
10440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10440 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
