10431 Possible Causes:
10431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10431 Code
- Inspect all the connections crankshaft position signal output, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
