When you open 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
10428 Possible Causes:
10428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10428 Code
- Inspect all the connections crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
