When you open malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low and exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
10420 Possible Causes:
10420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 10420 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
