Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low or air cleaner inlet control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
10406 Possible Causes:
10406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 10406 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
