10405 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor coolant pump control, circuit low or change 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
10405 Possible Causes:
10405 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10405 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
