Diagnosing engine bar with a/c request b, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration or o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
10400 Possible Causes:
10400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10400 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "a"
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
