This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine torque reduction, open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low or torque management feedback signal "a" will delay your vw fault. |
10398 Possible Causes:
10398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 10398 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
