This code were stamped on VW Engine case data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open and torque management request input signal b, high will delay your vw fault. |
10398 Possible Causes:
10398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10398 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
