10396 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+ . On the other hand turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical will delay your vw fault. |
10396 Possible Causes:
10396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10396 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
