10388 Description And Summary : |

When you open control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit . On the other hand exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit is the final reason of the code. |

10388 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 10388 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
