10387 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high you can see the outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
10387 Possible Causes:
10387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 10387 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
