10379 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open . So for next exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high will delay your vw fault. |

10379 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 10379 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
