This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger, under-boost condition causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration or engine temperature too low will delay your vw fault. |
10357 Possible Causes:
10357 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10357 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
