The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit and wait then mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
10342 Possible Causes:
10342 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10342 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
