10279 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 1, system too rich off idle and wait then leak in air intake system is the final reason of the code. |
10279 Possible Causes:
10279 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 10279 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
