Diameter in engine angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant level low and starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
10278 Possible Causes:
10278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10278 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
