This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high and wait then glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
10266 Possible Causes:
10266 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 10266 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module: eeprom error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
