10256 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine starter interlock, circuit short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high or change valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
10256 Possible Causes:
10256 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10256 Code
- Inspect all the connections cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
