10246 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr. causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ecm/pcm power input, signal also ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
10246 Possible Causes:
10246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10246 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
