The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector control pressure sensor, circuit high or angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
10241 Possible Causes:
10241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10241 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
