Diagnosing engine bar with starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
10231 Possible Causes:
10231 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10231 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
