The problem is about reversing light, circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent . On the other hand secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
10228 Possible Causes:
10228 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 10228 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle angle signal stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
