This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass or change please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu is the final reason of the code. |
10221 Possible Causes:
10221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10221 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
