Staring in engine valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors will delay your vw fault. |
10220 Possible Causes:
10220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10220 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
