10206 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (3040), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) you can see the butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started is the final reason of the code. |

10206 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10206 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
