The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off you can see the exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit will delay your vw fault. |
10191 Possible Causes:
10191 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10191 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
