Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off or pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
10190 Possible Causes:
10190 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 10190 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
