10189 Description And Summary : |

When you open nox sensor bank 2, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich or change throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
10189 Possible Causes:
10189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10189 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
