The problem is about injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction or ignition coil 'l' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
10189 Possible Causes:
10189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 10189 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage "b", circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
