When you open control module throttle actuator position, performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 . On the other hand secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
10188 Possible Causes:
10188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10188 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
