The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low or change nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
10181 Possible Causes:
10181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 10181 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
