The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle actuator control motor, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open you can see the torque management feedback signal "b" will delay your vw fault. |
10177 Possible Causes:
10177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10177 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
