Accumulated in electronic control units so engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground . On the other hand valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
10172 Possible Causes:
10172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 10172 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel supply heater, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
