This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance or change turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
10170 Possible Causes:
10170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10170 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
