10168 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high or starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit is the final reason of the code. |

10168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 10168 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
