Staring in engine data bus powertrain, implausible message from immobilizer run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of airbag ecu and intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
10168 Possible Causes:
10168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10168 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
