Accumulated in electronic control units so ecm/pcm power input, signal low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open and relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
10164 Possible Causes:
10164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 10164 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
