10163 Description And Summary : |

This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
10163 Possible Causes:
10163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 10163 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump, fuel calibration not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
