This code were stamped on VW Engine case o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich or change radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
10157 Possible Causes:
10157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 10157 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
