The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit and exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
10156 Possible Causes:
10156 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10156 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
